Do I need to prepare my pet for surgery?
How you prepare your pet for surgery usually depends on the surgery performed. We may ask that you fast your pet for 6 to 12 hours before the procedure to ensure they are well-rested and hydrated. Before the surgery, we may also sedate them to ensure they are comfortable and calm. Once the procedure is done, our team will closely monitor them as they rest and recover.
