Vaccines for Puppies & Dogs

A vaccination plan helps keep your canine companion protected against dangerous diseases.

Vaccinating your pet helps protect them from contracting and spreading harmful diseases that may be fatal if not prevented. With the help of our team, we can give your pet the freedom to explore with no worries in sight. To book your dog’s vaccination appointment, please don’t hesitate to call us at

At what age should I vaccinate my puppy?

Ideally, dogs should get their first round of vaccines from 8 to 12-weeks-old up until they are 3 to 4-months-old. As they enter their adult years, they will continue to receive a booster vaccine once every year to once every three years as part of their healthcare routine. This all depends on your pet’s unique needs, breed, age, and lifestyle.

Will my pet be in pain during the procedure?

Vaccines are relatively painless and quick. Your pet may feel a slight pinch from the single injection. Vaccines can also be administered orally as drops into the nose or mouth, although this practice is not as common. Throughout the procedure, our team will make sure your pet feels as calm and comfortable as possible.

What vaccines should my dog get?

Core vaccines are vaccines all dogs should receive. Depending on your pet’s unique breed, lifestyle, and set of risks, our veterinarians would be happy to create a vaccination plan tailored to your pet’s needs. Some core vaccines we recommend for all dogs include:

  • Rabies
  • Canine distemper
  • Canine Parvovirus
  • Infectious canine hepatitis
